FRP is a novel high-performance engineering composite material made of resin as the matrix and glass fiber as the reinforcing material, manufactured using a pultrusion molding process. It is widely used in various optical cables.



It is lightweight and high-strength, with low density and high specific strength, making it lightning-resistant and suitable for climates with frequent lightning strikes and heavy rainfall.



It has low expansion, exhibiting a small coefficient of linear expansion over a wide temperature range.



It is interference-resistant, unaffected by induced current interference, and can be installed close to power lines and electrical equipment.



It is corrosion-resistant, preventing the generation of harmful gases from metal corrosion from affecting the quality of information transmitted through the optical fiber.
